The downtown of the city has the most important cultural heritage. There, one can find the Cathedral, with its Neogothic style. There is also the Town Hall, with its Neorenaissance style. Other activities are the visit to the Paseo del Bosque, with more than 100 tree species, the Zoo, the Museum of Natural Science (the most important Natural Science Museum of South America), the Space Observatory and Soccer Clubs (Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata and Estudiantes de La Plata).
